Senior Spotlight: Joe F.
Joe is planning on attending NMC in the fall where he will be working on an associate's degree in fresh water studies. Upon completion he intends to further his studies at Lake Superior State University where he will work on a BS in Environmental Biology.

Some would say math and science are all about problems. Using IXL.com there are some kids tackling them! Mrs. Clark's fourth grade class has answered 25,000 math questions for this school year. Mrs. Quist's third graders have answered 500 science questions during our distance learning session. Great job using technology to your advantage to further your learning!!

Mrs. McCrimmon is giving kudos to Alekz R. and Ethan T. for working super hard in all subjects! Carrierose and Keirston have been rocking as paper/pencil learners, Micheal H. has been doing all his online assignments for math, and Emily C. for completing English work.
Mrs. Deighton has some 6th grade marvelous mathematicians: Elaina, Mason, Jennifer, Molly, Jaden, Cayden, Ava, Collin, Reagan, Cannon and Aaliyah. In The Great Reading Race of 2020, Cayden M. won the 2nd leg with Elaina following and Collin in 3rd place! There is one more leg to go!

Marion athletes:
The MHSAA has released information regarding athletic physicals for the 2020-2021 school year. If an athlete has an athletic physical for the 2019-2020 school year it WILL carry over to the 2020-2021 school year, however, they will be asked to fill out a Health Questionnaire form. These forms can be picked up in the high school office.

MHS would like to honor some high school students who are rising above the obstacles of our times. Learning without a school building, person-to-person communication, and sometimes a less than stellar internet connection is a challenge! “I plan on first attending Mid Michigan Community College for one year and then transferring to Ferris State University to study psychology or another science related field. I will attend the ROTC program at Ferris. Once I get my degree I plan on joining the National Guard or Army Reserves while continuing my career in psychology or science.
What I miss about high school is seeing my friends and favorite teachers everyday and playing sports. ”

Our purpose is to positively influence our community by creating a safe positive environment, giving students an influential voice, solving problems through student leadership, and supporting other student groups.
