Marion Elementary students and parents, come join the fun at the PTO sponsored Fall Carnival this coming Tuesday from 5:30-7:00.
Marion Cross Country's
5k was a huge success!! Thanks to all who made this possible-runners, sponsors, and volunteers.
The fall carnival activities are closing down now. The movie night will be rescheduled due to the cold and wind.
It was Mix-It-Up Friday in the band room! The middle school band students mixed up their seating to make it more of a challenge and listen to sections they may not usually hear in class.
They are practicing and preparing for their upcoming Halloween concert and art show on Thursday, October 26 @7pm in the HS gym.
More from Cross Country!
Two for one post! The Marion Cross Country Team has been busy representing Marion far away in Traverse City and close to home in Cadillac. Grand Traverse Academy Muddy Relay lived up to its name this year as it does every year! It takes a special kind of person to enjoy a race like this and we have a full team of them!
Our middle school team ran alongside other local middle school teams around the Cadillac CASA fields for Cadillac's MS Costume run. A huge congratulations to Alexis, running her first race of her career.
I am writing this as we ride the bus to Montabella's Mustang Invitational so stay tuned for more from this great group of athletes!
Reminder to come out and support the Marion Cross Country Team! The 5k/1mi run starts at 10am, the Fall Carnival will follow, and the evening will conclude with a showing of Hocus Pocus (sponsored by the Freshman Class). Due to potential weather conditions, please check back here for any changes in the schedule of the day's activities!
A huge thanks to all of the local businesses and organizations that helped make this event possible: Pollington Machine Tool Inc., M Town Gym, Lake City Lumber, ON Target Auto, Artist on Duty, LCM Surveying & Engineering, Christie’s Potting Shed, Untamed Archery, Ice Mountain, Shannon Jac’s, and the Dream Diner.
A reminder that Family Learning Night is tonight at Marion Elementary!
