MPACT wants to thank all who ordered submarine sandwiches during our SuperBowl Sub Sale. We honor the Lions efforts still with the Lions Sub Club. (To quote a sixth grader, “They won in our hearts.”) These fundraisers help initiatives for our students to continue! A special thanks to M & J Food Market of Marion for being our supplier for sub buns. They are delicious! Enjoy the game, commercials, and the subs!

SNOWCOMING DANCE is tomorrow night, Feb. 1st. MHS Snowcoming court was presented at the girls and boys basketball games Monday night. Spirit Week followed and we will be announcing the Snowcoming King and Queen at the dance. The voting for king and queen will take place from 9-9:20 at the dance with the royal announcement and walk of all the high school representatives taking place at 9:30. A new tradition was started this year with secret fluffy snowballs with passwords. Six students guessed the passwords for the snowballs located on various teachers' desks for a dance discount of $1 instead of the usual $5 admission. Here is your sneak peek of the festivities set up for tomorrow's dance. MPACT would like to thank the staff and students for participating in spirit week, the chaperones who plan to attend, John and Ashley Barron for photo backdrop contribution, Three Birds Coffee and Tea for joining the celebration and the decoration committee, Jamie Knapp, Mr. Teare, Mrs. Deighton and Ms. Baker, for set up. Be there or be snow! Doors open at 8:45. The dance concludes at 11:00.

We understand that questions have arisen regarding a bus driver and Dean’s Transportation. While not everyone is aware of this situation, we want to assure you that, as always, our leadership team and Dean’s Transportation thoroughly investigate all concerns brought to our attention. In this instance, misinformation has circulated about a bus driver in our district, leading to inaccurate conclusions. After careful review, we can confirm that these claims are untrue. This bus driver is a valued member of our community who works hard to serve our students every day. We appreciate the trust you place in us to care for your children and encourage everyone to verify information before sharing it. Let’s continue to support one another and model the respect and kindness that make our community strong. Thank you for being a part of our Eagle family.
