NHS Blood Drive announcement
Celebrate Thanksgiving by saving lives! Marion High School is hosting a blood drive on November 29! Time slots are open from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. The drive will be held in the high school media center. Ages 16 (with parent's permission) and older are welcome! This drive's tip for a successful donation is to make sure to eat iron-fortified cereal, Malt-o-meal, or take iron supplements to bump up your hemoglobin count. As always, donors are encouraged to drink extra water and eat a good breakfast/lunch on the day of the drive to ensure a comfortable blood draw. Sign up today to help save lives!

One of our students won a costume contest sponsored by the Marion Fire Department. For their prize they were dropped off at school in a fire truck. Miss Umbreit’s class patiently waited for the arrival of their classmate and then were given a tour of the truck! Thank you, Marion Fire Department!
