Calling all current and alumni band members! Marion Days is coming up and we are returning to the parade this year! Practice will be on Thursday August 3 at 7pm and should last no more than an hour. Performance will be on the truck (no marching) for the parade on Saturday August 5.

SEEDS Marion students each created their own unique Spiderman character. They engaged in a creative writing class to write about the villains their character faces, what part of the multiverse they exist in, and many other creative details. All Spiderman costumes were donated by Merchandise Outlet in Cadillac along with over $500 dollars worth of arts and crafts materials. Thank you so much!
SPORTS PHYSICALS FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR: Sports physicals will take place at the high school on August 4th starting at 9AM. There is a $20 fee. Call the high school office to schedule an appointment. All athletes must have a current sports physical that has been conducted on or after April 15, 2023, on file in the high school office before they can participate in practices and contests.
At Marion Public Schools we strive to provide exceptional and personalized education to all students. On August 8th we ask that you vote in the special election to renew our Operating Millage. This renewal will be for a period of five years, 2024-2028, and is inclusive to provide funds for operating purposes. Our Operating Millage is essential to us fulfilling our mission. This millage is a renewal; it will not be a cost increase to homeowners. As always, we thank you for your support.

It's a Wavelength Wednesday! If you're an incoming 1st - 8th grader, come for some math tutoring to help with your summer math workbook, get help with a math concept that has always bugged you, or play a math game. Mrs. Deighton is available at the elementary from 11-2 today! Call or stop by and get on the same wavelength with math before next school year!

Our fifth graders enjoyed their trip to Mackinac Island last week. They want to shout out a BIG thank you to their chaperones, bus drivers, Wendall Schwab for dinner, and anyone who supported their fundraising in the fall.
