Middle School life is an adventure for students and for parents. The incoming sixth grade class to MHS, aka the class of 2031, got a leg up on their first year of middle school today with sixth grade boot camp! They met up with friends, tackled locker combinations, learned about F.R.O.G. which stands for friendships, relationships, organization and goals in surviving middle school and had lunch. The team building activities put everyone's mind back in the helpful and work together attitude. We have a super class on its way through MHS. Thank you families for your transportation coordination and support. Also thank you to the cafeteria staff, custodial staff, office staff and teachers for pulling this together. It helps so much when families and schools work together. Enjoy the year ahead; it will be a fun ride!
If your sixth grader missed boot camp today, please try to attend open house Wed. Aug. 14 from 4-6 at MHS. This is for all students to pick up schedules, forms and greet the staff.
